DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 306/2024

amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement [2025/571]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 of 16 December 2021 on the data to be provided for the reference year 2023 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council on integrated farm statistics as regards the list of variables and their description and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2) Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 repeals Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 ( 2 ) , which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement, and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement.

(3) By virtue of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 327/2019 of 13 December 2019, Regulation (EU) No 2018/1091 does not apply to Liechtenstein.

(4) Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The text of point 23a (Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009) is replaced with the following:

‘ 32021 R 2286 : Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 of 16 December 2021 on the data to be provided for the reference year 2023 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council on integrated farm statistics as regards the list of variables and their description and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 ( OJ L 458, 22.12.2021, p. 284 ).’

Article 2

The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union , shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 7 December 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made ( *1 ) .

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union .
