DECISION OF THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

THE SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT,

Having regard to the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and the conditions of employment of other servants of the European Union, laid down by Council Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 (1), as amended, in particular, by Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 1023/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2013 amending the Staff Regulations of Officials of the European Union and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union (2) and, in particular, Article 30 of those Staff Regulations,

Having regard to the Bureau decision of 13 January 2014 on the delegation of the powers of the appointing authority and of the authority empowered to conclude contracts of employment (AECE) and to the decision of the Secretary-General of 25 September 2017 modifying the allocation of powers of the appointing authority and of the AECE,

Having regard to the expiry, on 31 December 2024, of the following European Parliament lists of suitable candidates: AD/2/20, AD/3/20, AST/1/20, AST/2/20, AST-SC/1/20, PE/168/S, PE/186/S, PE/226/S – 1, PE/226/S – 2, PE/226/S – 3, PE/226/S – 4, PE/227/S, PE/228/S, PE/229/S – 1, PE/229/S – 2, PE/229/S – 3, PE/232/S, PE/255/S and its ADDENDUM, PE/257/S, P/2020/AD9 (P), P/2020/AD10 (P), P/2020/AST/6 (P) and P/2020/AST/7 (P),

Having regard to the exhaustion of the following European Parliament list of suitable candidates: AD/1/21,

Having regard to the opinion of the Joint Committee issued at its meeting of 16 October 2024,

HAS DECIDED

Article 1

The period of validity of the following lists of suitable candidates: AD/2/20, AST/2/20, AST-SC/1/20, PE/226/S – 1, PE/226/S – 2, PE/226/S – 3, PE/226/S – 4, PE/228/S, PE/229/S – 1, PE/229/S – 2, PE/229/S – 3, PE/232/S, PE/257/S, P/2020/AD9 (P), P/2020/AD10 (P), P/2020/AST/6 (P) and P/2020/AST/7 (P) shall be extended until 31 December 2025.

Article 2

The period of validity of the following lists of suitable candidates: AD/3/20, AST/1/20, PE/168/S, PE/186/S, PE/227/S and PE/255/S and its ADDENDUM shall not be extended.
