DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 106/2024

amending Annex XV (State aid) to the EEA Agreement [2024/1933]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1) Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2391 of 4 October 2023 amending Regulations (EU) No 717/2014, (EU) No 1407/2013, (EU) No 1408/2013 and (EU) No 360/2012 as regards de minimis aid for the processing and marketing of fishery and aquaculture products, and Regulation (EU) No 717/2014 as regards the total amount of de minimis aid granted to a single undertaking, its period of application and other matters ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2) Annex XV to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Annex XV to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

The following indent is added in point 1ea (Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013):

‘—

32023 R 2391 : Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2391 of 4 October 2023 ( OJ L, 2023/2391, 5.10.2023 ).’

The following indent is added in point 1ha (Commission Regulation (EU) No 360/2012):

‘—

32023 R 2391 : Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2391 of 4 October 2023 ( OJ L, 2023/2391, 5.10.2023 ).’

Article 2

The text of Regulation (EU) 2023/2391 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union , shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 27 April 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made ( *1 ) .

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union .
