DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 80/2022
of 18 March 2022
amending Annex XVI (Procurement) to the EEA Agreement [2022/1148]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
(1) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1950 of 10 November 2021 amending Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council in respect of the thresholds for supply, service and works contracts ( 1 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(2) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1951 of 10 November 2021 amending Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council in respect of the thresholds for concessions ( 2 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(3) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1952 of 10 November 2021 amending Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council in respect of the thresholds for public supply, service and works contracts, and design contests ( 3 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(4) Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1953 of 10 November 2021 amending Directive 2014/25/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council in respect of the thresholds for supply, service and works contracts, and design contests ( 4 ) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.
(5) Annex XVI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annex XVI to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:
1.
The following indent is added in point 2 (Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council):
‘-
32021 R 1952: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1952 of 10 November 2021 ( OJ L 398, 11.11.2021, p. 23 ).’
2.
The following indent is added in point 4 (Directive 2014/25/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council):
‘-
32021 R 1953: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1953 of 10 November 2021 ( OJ L 398, 11.11.2021, p. 25 ).’
3.
The following indent is added in point 5c (Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council):
‘-
32021 R 1950: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1950 of 10 November 2021 ( OJ L 398, 11.11.2021, p. 19 ).’
4.
The following indent is added in point 6f (Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council):
‘-
32021 R 1951: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/1951 of 10 November 2021 ( OJ L 398, 11.11.2021, p. 21 ).’
Article 2
The texts of Delegated Regulations (EU) 2021/1950, (EU) 2021/1951, (EU) 2021/1952 and (EU) 2021/1953 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union , shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 19 March 2022, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made ( * ) .
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union .
