§ 6671 - Authorization of appropriations

CHAPTER 79— SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY POLICY, ORGANIZATION AND PRIORITIES › SUBCHAPTER V— GENERAL PROVISIONS

(a) For the purpose of carrying out subchapter II of this chapter, there are authorized to be appropriated—

(a)(1) $750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976;

(a)(2) $500,000 for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976;

(a)(3) $3,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and

(a)(4) such sums as may be necessary for each of the succeeding fiscal years.

(b) For the purpose of carrying out subchapter III of this chapter, there are authorized to be appropriated—

(b)(1) $750,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976;

(b)(2) $500,000 for the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976;

(b)(3) $1,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977; and

(b)(4) such sums as may be necessary for each of the succeeding fiscal years.
